Suzanne Plante, LMT
A little bit about me!
I have always been interested in ways to facilitate healing in my body with herbs, essential oils, exercise and a healthy lifestyle. In 1992, I pursued my interest in aromatherapy and received certification in the use of essential oils for health and wellness. At that time, I had no idea the path I would follow 15 years later! In 2007, I began an amazing journey down the road of massage therapy by enrolling in the North Eastern Institute for Whole Health in Manchester, NH. After graduating in 2008 and receiving my national certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (#571166-09) and State of NH license (#3322M), I opened my practice in Whitten Chiropractic located in Concord, NH. I am also a professional member of The American Massage Therapy Association.
I believe we have been given the tools to maintain our health, but the responsibility falls in our own hands since we live in our bodies every moment of every day. My job as a therapist is to decide which pieces of my training are appropriate for your condition, whether it be acute or chronic, and how to best include the correct modalities into your massage. My goal is to provide a pain-free treatment that will bring relief and lasting improvement. This is not possible without your commitment to participate in your final outcome.
I also enjoy training in martial arts and my training has provided me with many options and opportunities to learn more about how our bodies work and how I can assist in helping the body work most efficiently.
I am a native of Concord, NH and continue to stay connected with the community by volunteering through hospice and teaching women’s self defense classes.
